KEOLABS’ solutions validate all levels of NFC implementation in mobile phones, cards, tags and readers

13 January 2015, Montbonnot France — Today KEOLABS, a leading provider of testing tools and services for smart objects and NFC, announced the NFC Forums’ approval of its NFC Forum Analog Validation Solution. The NFC Forum Analog Validation Solution is complemented by the companies’ NFC Forum approved digital-level testing solution as well as its SNEP/LLCP application-level testing solution, which is currently in NFC Forum approval process. Together, KEOLABS’ NFC Forum testing solutions allow full validation of NFC implementations from the lowest analog levels to digital and SNEP/LLCP application levels.

KEOLABS’ testing solutions allow companies designing NFC capable products to verify strict conformance to NFC Forum analog implementation standards and thus ensure interoperability with other NFC products on the market. Ensuring broad interoperability of NFC objects enables their use in a variety of applications such as payment, transportation ticketing, customer loyalty applications, site-based information services or pairing of mobiles and other systems.

KEOLABS’ validation solutions ease the challenges of “in-house” testing by providing complete, fully integrated hardware/software installations. SCRIPTIS’ integrates manager, editor, result viewer and reporting in a single interface for greater efficiency in test bench configuration, test campaign management and results analysis.

The NFC Forum Analog Validation Solution is a natural extension of KEOLABS’ testing solutions for smart cards (ISO/IEC 14443 A/B, FeliCa, ISO/IEC 7816) and mobile phones (NCF IP1/IP2, SWP – HCI/HDLC). The solution also complements KEOLABS’ application-specific solutions for testing conformance to payment (EMVCo), transportation ticketing (CIPURSE, Mifare) and identity (ICAO including TR-SAC, EAC and ISO/IEC 18013 including TR 19446, IAS-ECC and eIDAS) standards.

The NFC Forum Analog Validation Solution is also complemented by the companies’ NFC Forum approved digital-level testing solution. Together, KEOLABS’ NFC Forum testing solutions allow full validation of NFC implementations from the lowest analog levels to digital and application levels.

Moreover, KEOLABS’ Testing Laboratory offers testing services for NFC enabled phones and smart objects (smart cards, tags, etc.) based on its NFC Forum testing solutions.
